The North Carolina Freedom Project is a registered IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation. As an outgrowth of the Paul Green Foundation, the North Carolina Freedom Monument Project established its own charitable status in 2004 and established a prestigious advisory board and board of directors from across the state to fulfill the ambitious mission of the North Carolina Freedom Park.
